The Worship and Arts Ministry is comprised of vocalists, instrumentalists, technical team members, and a variety of volunteers. Our goal is to present the message of salvation through everything we do during our Sunday morning services. Music is just part of what we use to glorify God. There are many opportunities for you to be a part of this ministry, even if youíre not musically gifted! Think you've got what it takes? We'd love to find out, click here to show us what you've got!
are a part of the team on a weekly basis. Both male and female vocalists serve on our Vocal Team. We have a variety of singers who choose to use their gifts to lead our congregation in worship. The Vocal Team meets for rehearsal on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm.
are a second group of volunteers that is used on a regular basis in our Sunday services. Piano, guitar, bass drums, strings, keyboard, and occasionally other instruments are used to accompany and lead our congregation in worship. Each week the band meets for rehearsal on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm where our instrumentalists play from sheet music and lead sheets. This is a great way to be involved in the musical worship of the church!
The Technical Team
is composed of volunteers who operate the audio mixing console, computer, light board, video camera and video switcher. If you are interested in one of these positions, we will provide you with the training you need to perform the tasks for each position. Most of these tasks are easy to learn, so donít feel like you are not qualified. Take a chance to learn something new and help our service be capable of so much more!
If you are interested in learning more about this ministry, would like to join the Technical Team, or would like to audition as a vocalist or instrumentalist, or for more information, contact Pastor Paul Bengtson by clicking here.
"I am a part of the worship team because it allows me to serve at my church through my cello-playing, which is something I love to do. I believe that my talent on the cello is God-given, and so it makes me so happy to know that I can assist others' worshiping of the Lord using that talent. Being on the team and doing that allows me to worship Him better, too. I can praise Him with the music I play."
"I joined the music ministry because I enjoy singing and praising God. What I did not anticipate were the blessings of serving alongside other musicians on the platform. While our worship is for God alone, our participation in worship can help others freely offer up their praises to Him."
